SO AND SUCH
Dialog: "That's so funny; you're such a comedian."
Both "so" and "such" make the meaning of an adjective or adverb stronger. However, they are used with different structures. Look at the examples below:
FORM: SO + ADJECTIVE or ADVERB
SUCH + NOUN
SUCH + ADJECTIVE + NOUN
1) SO
- She's been really stressed from working so hard.
- Not getting a visa is so disappointing
- The U.S. Customs officer was so rude.
- They have so much money that they own a private jet.
2) SUCH
- How can you believe such stupid stories?
- I had such a good time in Spain I didn't want to come back.
- It was such a shock to see him go.
- He is such an inventor!
