Dialog: "That being said, I'll be meeting with corporate at the end of the week..."

We use the future continuous to talk about a pre-arranged action or event that will be in progress at a particular moment in the future. We can also use it to talk about something we predict will be in progress at a certain time in the future.

  • I won't be joining you for dinner this evening; I have some important business to attend to.
  • Will you be coming to the corporate picnic this weekend?

Sobre esta aula

It's never a fun thing to have to tell someone that his or her future with a company is uncertain, nor is it ever fun to receive such news. Unfortunately these situations are a reality, particularly with the way the global economy is going these days.  In this lesson you'll learn how to express what will be happening in the future...or not happening.
