FUTURE CONTINUOUS

We use the future continuous to indicate that a particular action in the future will be interrupted by another action at some point in the future. Remember this can be a real interruption or just an interruption in time.
- I'll be finishing up my homework by the time my parents get home tonight.
- The soldiers won't be attempting another frontal assault any time soon; not after the beating they took last time.
- I'm sure mom will be waiting for us when the plane gets in. Otherwise we'll have to get a cab all the way to New Jersey.
