Você usou perfeitamente o "past perfect", Maaah! Well done. Só que na estrutura "if" com o past perfect, a segunda parte tem que usar "would have - past participle". Por exemplo: "If I had tried this website before, I would have written English better now."

Almost, Tilamartins. "When I talked to my dad on his cell phone, he had told me he had already left his job work. "Do you believe it?"

I believe I can respond to your doubt, Mark! First, let me just say that you are never a burden, simply a student who is eager to learn and this exactly the type of student we like on meuInglês! And you are absolutely correct! I think Tamara's intention with this verbal example was to show the structure of the past perfect. But, of course, to give it context we need a complement. So, I have a task for you. Can you give a complement to this sentence: Mom had already been to Washington in 1967 when...

Ahh, ok! Got it. Yeah, your English did seem quite natural! lol

In the dialog there's a question "When do you think you can have it fixed?"
In several examples you use the structure to have something done. I don't understand very well when I must use this structure.
Examples:
- When do you think you can have it fixed?
- My wife had her ultrasound done

Your sentences are perfect, Genilton!
This structure to have something done is used when you yourself are not doing this action, and the person who is doing the action is not the focus.
A perfect example of this is the sentence:
I had my hair cut yesterday.
You did not cut your own hair, and the person who cut your hair is not the focus. If it were, the sentence would be:
Jack cut my hair yesterday.
However if you really did cut your own hair then you could say:
I cut my hair yesterday.
Did this explanation help?

Correcting the second sentence. Where is written "I ha" You shall read "I have or I've"
