Hey Josh and Tamara! I think that in the audio lesson you give the example "Can I turn on the TV?", but in the grammar page you said "Can I turn the television on?".
Can we change the position of the preposition "on"?

You certainly can. The expression is "to turn something on" OR "to turn on something", both are perfectly fine. Good catch!

It depends on the situation. to try is a verb, and to try on is a phrasal verb. The preposition on changes the meaning of the verb. Here's an example with to try:
- Mmmm, that omelet looks good! Can I try it?
Now look at an example with to try on:
- Wow! This dress is beautiful! Can I try it on?
Now, I have a task for you. Try to discover why we use to try in the first example, and to try on in the second! (eu te dei uma dica com as palavras em azul)

Ash, I think that in first example "try" was used for foods, juices... and in the second example "try on" was used to clothes and accessories. I guess... Sorry if I'm wrong...

Your first and last questions are just fine. The one in the middle needs a little work: "Can I study in the library?"
