Yes. Colour is British English whereas color is American English. Abs.

Em inglês, Stefano, você "love to do something". Então, como você pode dizer que você ama jogar futebol? E sim, politicians (políticos) could make a better world OU politicians could make the world a better place.

Por que nos exemplos nem todos precisavam do "THE".

Castel, quando todos na frase sabem a que coisa estão se referindo, precisa usar "the". Por exemplo: "I like bread" quer dizer que você gosta de pão em geral, nenhum pão específico. "I like the bread on the table" se refere a um pão específico, único e nenhum outro pão. Nesse caso precisa do "the". Isso te ajudou?

Hi Ale,
In American English when you have "like verb" you have to use like to verb(infinitive)(I like to swim). In British English it's used like verb(ing)(I like swimming.)

Good job, Fia. I love music, too. When you want to say that you like or hate something "countable", like spiders and dogs and friends, you need to put them in the plural. So you would say: "I hate spiders/dogs/scary mov[b]ies[/b], etc."

* Is there anything wrong with your fridge?

Hi, MR.! You can use both. "Anything" when you're not sure you'll have a positive answer and "something" when you're pretty sure of it. Funciona com ANY e SOME também: Do you have any gum? (Não sei se tem) Do you have some gum? (Eu estou vendo você mascando). Abs.

"Don't" e "doesn't like" are much more used than "dislike" but they have the same meaning.

I don't like baseball, either. But I played it when I was a kid - little league baseball. "I love to play tennis, jog and play soccer." In English, the verb is 'to jog' (fazer cooper).
