Hi, MaxClass. Só duas coisinhas: "people" é plural, então não pode usar "is". O que seria, então? Na última parte: "...here on my street."

Hi, Tanny. Quando você usa a palavra "money", ele sempre está no singular, então tem que usar "there is". E por ser algo que não dá para contar individualmente (uncountable), vai usar a palavra "much". Então: "There is not much money in my house, but there is my beautiful family."

Close, Flaviola. Vamos ver. Você quis dizer "Na minha rua só tem casas." Isso fica assim em inglês: "On my street there are only houses." OU "There are only houses on my street." Viu como se usa a palavra "only", a posição? E para aglo que fina "na minha rua" você precisa dizer "on my street". Great job!

Let's look at your sentences: "There is somebody (anybody is used with negative statements and questions) in my parents' (here you have to use the plural possessive with s') house, but who?" "I'm walking...what's happened between them. Now your questions: "What do I do?" "Do I call the cops? Do I burn the body?" "You're living a horror story, my son!"

Near quer dizer perto (I'm near you) e next to, ao lado (I'm next to you). Next sozinho significa próximo, como em next week, na próxima semana. Abs.
