Curumim, na verdade parece um pouco com o "r" de "buri" pois ele se junta com a palavra seguinte, o "it". O "but" sozinho não produziria o mesmo som.

Hi monica, a question: na frase "i'm not hungry." traduz-se:"eu não estou com fome." porque não se usa "com" como em "i'm not with hungry? Thanks...Help,help...rs

Hi, curumim. We say "I am not hungry" because the expression is "to be hungry". É difícil às vezes perguntar "por que" alguma coisa é assim em outra língua, porque simplesmente é assim; não tem uma razão.

One more question, curumim? That's right, "eu estou tomando conta de algo/alguém" is translated as "I am taking care of something/someone". You do not use the "to".

No need to apologize, Lanier! The position of adjectives is something every language learner must...well, learn. LOL! Here is an easy rule to follow when you use two or more adjectives: opinion adjectives, like nice, interesting, delicious, etc., come first, while fact adjectives, like large, short, hot, etc., come second. In your sentence beautiful is an opinion, and sunny is a fact. Therefore it's a beautiful, sunny day! Unfornately this sentence is not a fact today, because in Rio it's an ugly, cloudy day! LOL!

Boa pergunta, Curumim. Quando usamos o "future with will", o verbo que segue "will" está sempre no infinitvo, sem o "to". A expressão é "to look after someone/something", então para colocar no future, usamos "will" e o verbo sem "to": "I will to look after my little sister." Does that help you?

Hi, Denise. A sua frase está gramaticamente perfeitíssima! Só que em inglês, para dizer que o tempo está bom, normalmente vamos usar o adjetivo "nice" em vez de "good" quando você está comentado sobre o tempo. "The weather is nice today." Você pode usar "good" quando você está prevendo que tipo de tempo que vai ter no futuro: "We are going to have some good weather tomorrow." OU "The weather is going to be nice tomorrow."
