Hope you enjoyed this great article on how Brazil's leading the way in its fight against tuberculosis! Now, on to our task...what are some things you do to reinforce good behavior in your children, co-workers, or pets?

I have a doubt about the expression "I digress"... Josh used it at aroud 6:48. I can understand why he used it here, but when I looked it up in the dictionary the examples weren't as clear. By the way... that was a great lesson! Thank you! Mariana.

Hello, Mariana! I'm glad that we were able to clarify the difference between if and whether for you! We have another I Rock lesson (nivel fluente) about if x whether called, "The "Write" to Scribble"...it's worth checking out! Now about Josh's use of "I digress"...a simple definition of this verb is: to depart from the main subject in speech or writing. Josh started to move away from the topic we were discussing, therefore he digressed. Hope that helped! By the way, your English is great!

The classes are really great, keep up the good job, guys!
However, I think that in the "fill the gaps" part of the exercises you should put the verbs in the infinitive form, as the students would have put them in the appropriate tense for each sentence.
In the current system, one could just check if the verb in the expression fits the gap, not really thinking about its meaning.

I agree, Digital Dead! It's a great idea! But we teachers are in the hands of the tech team when it comes to implementing such tools. I'll make sure this suggestion gets passed on to them. Thank you! BTW your English is excellent!

Hello people! To reinforce good behavior in my children, I try to stay with them as much as possible in order we can do things together like read a book, study to tests, watch to films, play guitar, ride bicycle, etc... I think the key to children education is the parents presence. The time of distant parents and strong (???) punishments is over (??? já passou, já acabou).

Genilton, I totally agree with you that taking time to spend with our children is essencial for their development. I would like to point out some grammatical issues here. Can you notice the difference between: in order to do things and so that we can do things? Also: do things together like reading, studying... Gerund, ok? As for vocab:strict punishments sounds better.

Ok, Monica. I got it. And gerund... Ah, I allways forget that English speaking people do love gerunds and use it a lot. Thank you very much for the tips.
